Exciting changes are on the horizon for Uptown Minneapolis. Neighbors and visitors in the area could soon see long awaited conceptual plans come to fruition for Seven Points (formerly known as Calhoun Square).
The new name originates from the iconic crown that sits above the property and illuminates the vibrant neighborhood. Northpond Partners who purchased the building in 2019, are refining their vision for the property which could eventually feature office and residential space amongst an eclectic mix of local and national retail stores and restaurants. Mike Doyle, Mike Brehm & Nils Snyder of Kenwood Commercial are assisting in leasing efforts.
“We’re extremely excited to be working with a genuine and team that truly desires to facilitate the much-needed reactivation of Hennepin & Lake Street. The new entrance alone will re-open the corner, improve pedestrian traffic and create a dynamic experience for visitors and tenants.” Said Mike Brehm, Partner at Kenwood Commercial.
Additional elements envisioned for the property include creating an outdoor public plaza on Hennepin Avenue and exploring the addition of a market store to support the daily needs of the residents.
