At Window World, giving back is part of the company’s DNA. Beyond providing windows and doors, the company actively supports Veterans Airlift Command (VAC) and is a major corporate sponsor for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. “These partnerships are about caring,” says Lee Cook, a longtime Window World team member. “Any company that owns a private jet can offer these services free of charge. This is just another way Window World gives back to the community.”
Since the partnership began, Window World has completed over 180 VAC missions—flights that transport veterans to medical appointments or treatment facilities. “I have been employed here for over 21 years, and I have yet to see another window company care and give back as much as Window World,” Lee says.
One particularly memorable moment came at Dulles Airport in Chantilly, Virginia, where Lee witnessed a soldier and his wife off for treatment. “I have never been more proud to work for a company that treats veterans with such dignity, respect, and fairness,” he reflects.
With 268 stores nationwide, Window World’s flights take veterans across the country, reinforcing the team’s passion for VAC’s mission. The company’s private pilot plays a key role, ensuring that both corporate and veteran flights are safely and efficiently completed. “This is a donation we take pride in delivering whenever we have the ability,” Lee adds.
Looking ahead, Window World hopes to continue making a positive impact for veterans and the broader community. Supporters can help by donating directly at VeteransAirlift.org/donate/. With continued flights, sponsorships, and community involvement, Window World proves that its commitment extends far beyond windows and doors—showing that corporate giving can truly change lives.
