We honor our veterans because we believe that there is no greater sacrifice than standing between the citizens of your country and any danger that may face them. To leave the comforts of your home and your family, to stand shoulder to shoulder with other men and women who value and protect our freedoms, to ensure the safety of their nameless and faceless countrymen- how does one offer enough thanks for that? The truth is, there aren’t enough “thank you’s” in the world, but we at the Greater Gainesville Chamber of Commerce, along with our amazing sponsors, raise our voices together every year to share our gratitude. To the men and women of the armed services, as well as those who support them, we are eternally grateful. Thank you for your service.
