With a promise of stronger muscles, stronger health and stronger self, The Exercise Coach can take you to the next level no matter your age or where you are in your fitness journey. “Making a difference in someone’s life is my passion,” owner Shelli Sifrit, says. Shelli and her husband, Mark, have been serving the Parker community since 2020 and recently opened their second location in Castle Rock. They have helped clients from 15 years old to 87 years old gain strength and balance in just two 20-minute sessions a week. “Our vision is to transform the way we resist and reverse the usual aging process,” Shelli explains.

The age-old philosophy of "just getting moving," isn't the only answer, especially as we age.  Why is strength so important? Irwin Rosenberg, M.D., states, "Muscle to a far greater extent than people realize is responsible for the vitality of their whole physiological apparatus."

As the largest personal training studio brand, The Exercise Coach not only offers an ideal solution for busy people, but the proprietary equipment, Exerbotics®, and coach-led workouts are differentiators that set the franchise apart. The machines measure force output for users of all levels and each person can compete against themselves and get immediate visual feedback since the information is organized and stored for each session. The quick sessions and the ability to see instant results right on the screen provide motivation and a sense of accomplishment.

By prioritizing resistance training to optimize health strength and vitality, people can do what they love. “Medicine has made it that we all live longer, and people want to be active with their grandkids. It allows us to do outdoor activities safely as we age and do the things we want to do,” Shelli explains. “I have always been active, but I was late becoming a hiker. I am much stronger than I used to be and more confident.”

Strength training has been proven to have positive health and fitness benefits. Reducing body fat, increasing metabolic rate, increasing bone mineral density, reducing back and arthritic pain, and avoiding muscle loss are just some of the main benefits. Core strength, flexibility and endurance are also key to functional and safe performance.

“Our Exercise Philosophy is to simultaneously maximize safety, effectiveness and efficiency,” Shelli relates. Doing an everyday activity at a higher level builds confidence and can prevent injury as we age. Shelli says members have recovered quicker from hip and knee replacements, ankle surgery and found relief from neuropathy. Members have also lost weight as they gain muscle and become more active.

Shelli and Mark are excited to be making a difference in the Parker and Castle Rock communities and The Exercise Coach is a proud member of the Parker Chamber of Commerce. The Exercise Coach is now also a Renew Active® premium location. The program is part of many UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage plans that offer fitness programs at no cost or a reduced rate, depending on the workout plan members choose.

The Exercise Coach is changing lives one member at a time. “We want to empower and inspire people to enjoy strength,” Shelli emphasizes. “Our members in Parker are like family and now we have a new family in Castle Rock too.”
