Weaving connections and building bridges with Volunteer Network

Volunteer Network’s mission is connecting Wilson County residents with volunteer needs to  create more efficient and effective change for our community. Organizations use our platform  to post their volunteer needs for YOU to sign up for! Additionally, we provide ongoing training  opportunities for volunteers to prepare to serve in times of disaster. Make the holidays brighter for our community!

(1) Give a Little Christmas  

Providing Christmas gifts for children of families  experiencing emergencies or illness. Families can  serve in a variety of ways, including helping in Santa’s  workshop. 

(2) Nashville Dream Center  

Provides a variety of services to families in need within Wilson County. Volunteers are needed on  November 16 and 21 to pass out free groceries.  

(3) TN Caregiver Coalition 

Providing respite to caregivers in families with a child with disabilities. November 16 and December 21  they’ll host caregiver respite nights. You’ll be paired with a child to help them enjoy their evening, while their parent or guardian takes some time to care for themselves.  

(4) Jesus Provisions Ministries  

Serves people in Wilson County providing food  assistance. They need volunteers to help wrap and  deliver Christmas gifts to families in our community. 

SALT  

Provides free groceries to Senior Adults and families  within Wilson County. On December 14 they need  volunteers for their monthly Mobile Food Pantry.

Compassionate Hands 

Serves people experiencing homelessness in Wilson  County. From December-Mid March they provide  winters shelters, food, transportation to and from  

shelters, and cleaning services. They need volunteers  throughout December and January to serve in their  Hope Shop, the storefront for their Project Reset  program and volunteers to provide transportation to  and from winter shelters.
