From the mountains, to the swamps and over to the coast, Georgia Parks’ natural resources provide perfect backdrops for some favorite television shows and films.

As Georgia takes over the film industry and is touted the “Hollywood of the South,” it is the diverse natural beauty throughout the state that proves to be the star of the show.

We curated a list of some of our favorite movies and shows that feature our home state’s natural beauty on the big screen.

While visiting Georgia’s State Parks, you might encounter an all-too-familiar view or trail and recall these sites from your favorite binge-worthy television show or award-winning feature film.
