“Wallpaper is about you expressing your personality,” says Kristin Giacomini at Flow Designs. “It’s a great way to make a bold statement and express a little bit more that paint can’t do.” Giacomini suggests using fun, bold and colorful prints—the bigger the better in her opinion. But it’s also best to choose a wallpaper you really love. Because the cost can be high and prep work can take time, you won’t want to replace wallpaper on a whim. The best rooms to put it in? A guest bath or office, someplace you won’t tire of it quickly.
