Since opening 40 years ago, Walters & Hogsett Jewelers have established themselves as the destination for jewelry throughout Northern Colorado. Generations of clients have turned to them to celebrate occasions and achievements and to honor the special moments of their lives.
How does it feel to know you've been a part of so many people's lives?
It's incredible. To be trusted for this long and help capture personal moments for so many special people, we are lucky. Jewelry continues to stand out as an item of personal significance, and we give all our customers a big high five for their support.
What are some of the highlights of the past 40 years that you can share?
The stories our clients share could fill a novel, and we love each moment. The remodels and expansions in 2001 and 2017 grew our hospitality experiences to showcase premier designers as one of the strongest independent jewelers around. That 'Jewelry' dream started in 1980 and took determination, sweat, and a few tears to be who we are today.
You partnered with Boulder Wine Merchant on a commemorative barrel of whiskey; how did that come together?
We embrace the best in Boulder and Colorado to help us all thrive. Brett is a friend, and his team understands specialty retail, and with our shared 40th anniversary, it made sense to curate an exclusive product together. Our bottles will be a surprise holiday gift for top customers, and Woody Creek Distillers is one of the best.
