Wardrobe Wonders

Investment pieces for smarter dressing

As we approach spring, keep in mind that this is the perfect time to clean out your closet and organize your wardrobe. Most people wear only 20% of their wardrobe, so you want to be really intentional with your closet edit as well as your investment pieces. Only keep what you actually wear, what fits, investment pieces and quality pieces. If you have not worn something in a year, then throw it out. Take your edits and either sell, donate or both! Now on to the good stuff!

What investment pieces to consider this spring:

A great blazer -  A killer black and/ or navy blazer is what I would start with if you are beginning to build a more intentional wardrobe. Throw it over a sharp white tee with denim and you instantly look on point.

Minimal sneakers - The sleek white sneaker has become a relatively new wardrobe must-have. For many, it's an everyday, off-duty essential. Indeed, a streamlined tennis-style shoe will always serve you well, and can be teamed with everything from wide-leg pants to everyday denim. These Veja V-10’s in Platine are perfection!

A trench to take you anywhere - Go for a silhouette that will complement your existing wardrobe and one that is roomy enough for layering on cooler days, and looks equally impressive over sleek suiting or a black silk dress. Veronica Beard’s luxe vegan leather trench with precision tailoring.

For the guys - A blazer from Transit is made of lightweight cotton. Find it on
