Bethany Morgio has an affinity for beautiful things with a story to tell.
“My dad is an antique dealer and a musician, and my mom is an artist. My whole life I was surrounded by incredible, quality pieces of furniture and décor – even if I didn’t appreciate it as a kid,” she says.
Her lifelong exposure to the classic and creative inspired Bethany to launch Round Up Vintage, an upscale fun – and funky — boutique in the heart of The Heights.
Bethany is no stranger to the world of retail. She worked in high-end boutiques in Connecticut, Austin and Aspen before moving with her fiancé, Wilson Brandt, to Little Rock.
At Round Up Vintage, Bethany masterfully employs her knowledge of luxury with her appreciation for vintage to fill her nostalgic space.
“Honestly, everything I chose was first and foremost because I liked it.” Bethany says.
“It is so fun, because you never know what you’re going to find. I really love the concept of heirlooms, and I am hoping people can find their heirlooms here. There are so many people who do not have the time or patience to spend hours upon hours searching through thrift stores, estate sales, auctions … that is where I come in. I have done all the work for them, so they get to come in and pick from the best of the best.”
Round Up Vintage also features works from local artisans – from ceramics to bandanas to leather and wood goods created by her fiancé.
And one of the best parts? A portion of all of Round Up Vintage’s sales will be donated to a different local charity each month.
“This shop is for everyone,” Bethany says. “I see so much potential in this city and room for someone like myself to bring a slightly new vision to the vintage experience.”
Round Up Vintage is located at 5606 R Street in The Heights. Be sure to follow the shop on Instagram @round_up_vintage.
