Ashleigh Russell is the Executive Director of A New Dawn Mastectomy Boutique, where compassion and confidence come together to help women feel whole again after breast cancer. With a deep passion for empowering survivors, Ashleigh has dedicated her career to creating a warm, supportive space where patients can find personalized fittings, post-mastectomy bras, breast prostheses, and the encouragement they deserve.  At A New Dawn, every fitting is more than just a service—it’s an opportunity to restore self-esteem and celebrate resilience. Ashleigh believes every woman deserves to feel beautiful, comfortable, and confident in her own skin, no matter where she is in her journey.  A New Dawn isn’t just a boutique—it’s a place of healing, hope, and new beginnings.

What does health/wellness mean to you?

Health and wellness mean creating balance and helping others restore it. At A New Dawn, I see wellness as more than physical healing—it’s emotional and spiritual, too. It’s about helping each woman feel like herself again through compassion, confidence, and care.

How would you describe the overall lifestyle in Naples? Would you say it's health-conscious?

In Naples I see a lifestyle that blends laid-back beach days with intentional wellness. The climate, the trails, the local fresh foods all make it easier to make healthy choices. Because the community itself values longevity—thanks in part to the Blue Zones mindset—it feels natural here to see health as part of everyday living rather than a separate task. So yes—I would absolutely say Naples is health-conscious. It’s just done in a chic, comfortable, and sustainable way.

I was raised in Indiana, but went to New York City to sing at Carnegie Hall as a teenager and knew I wanted to live in NYC. I then moved to NYC during school and residency training. During my residency training, I trained heavily in plastic surgery and orthopedic surgery. This led me to pursue a surgical fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania in Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery of the Lower Extremity. During this training, I worked side by side with 5 specialties and was fortunate to be in the plastic surgery department when the very first hand transplant was performed on a child at Upenn. I implemented key elements of this training into my hospital career in limb salvage and reconstructive surgery. During this time, I also welcomed two children into the world. My second child was born at the start of Covid, which led to shut down of child care regularly. This led us to pursue options in the Naples area. And I instantly knew Naples was my happy place. I once worked in 6 hospitals for two years, but ventured to more family friendly options that gave more freedom in pursuing advanced cellular based treatment options that optimized efficiency of patient outcomes. I now work at an independent living community (part of several ones across the nation) and I also helped launch a podiatry concierge service's presence in Southwest Florida with Integrative Foot and Ankle (based in West Palm Beach). My intent is to grow this service from routine procedures to advanced sports medicine and regenerative medicine treatments using the modern advancements in cellular based treatment modalities.

What strategies do you use to manage stress from work or family commitments while staying healthy?

I try to implement yoga, meditation, and practicing mindfulness and gratitude in my every day routines. I also make daily exercise a non-negotiable. Even more importantly, prayer and my faith have helped me surpass many odds in ways that seemed almost impossible.

After owning my own salon business in St. Louis, Missouri, for over a decade, I decided to move to Naples, Florida. My hair business was fulfilling for me, my passion and creativity, but then I noticed a change in my mobility and overall health and wellness. So, when I moved to Naples, I decided to pivot into more of the health and wellness space to ultimately motivate women and help them heal their bodies as I heal mine.

What does health/wellness mean to you?

Health and wellness to me means extending your life and extending the quality of your life. The more you lean into movement and fueling your body with whole foods, not only does it help your body perform at its best, but it helps your mind stay focused and overall healthy.

Are there any local organizations, fitness centers, or wellness groups that have had a significant impact on your health journey?

My Pilates studio that I work for has given me so much support and a sense of home.

How would you describe the overall lifestyle in Naples? Would you say it's health-conscious?

My lifestyle in Naples is the epitome of balance. I think to live a fulfilled life you have to lead with healthy habits, but I also think that you need to give yourself opportunity to have fun and be in the moment.  It’s all about balance for me.

How do you balance physical fitness with mental well-being?

Mindset is everything. I feel like to be happy, you have to choose to be happy every day, and to do that in the best way is to fill your life with a good support system, healthy habits, and overall movement.

Teri Williams

Tell us about yourself and your business.

I was born and raised in South Dakota, so I definitely have some country roots, but I love the energy and opportunity of city life just as much. I’m a proud mom to a 33-year-old son and a very grateful grandmother to a 1½-year-old grandson—with another grandbaby on the way. My deepest passions center around my faith, health, athletics, and music. Those are the things that ground me, energize me, and inspire the work I do. I’ve always believed that when we’re blessed with gifts, wisdom, and experience, it’s our responsibility to pay them forward—and that belief is what led me to start my health and wellness practice. I’m passionate about helping people understand how their daily habits shape not just their physical health, but how they show up in every part of their lives. Even small, consistent changes can create powerful, long-term growth. Using a scientifically and clinically proven system, I guide my clients through a personalized program that supports a wide range of goals—weight loss, muscle gain, better sleep, increased energy, and improved lab markers. With metabolic dysfunction becoming the new epidemic, my one-on-one coaching combined with this proven approach helps bring the body back into balance, supporting a true reset from the inside out. There are no fads, no gimmicks—just real, sustainable results that support long-term, optimal health. That’s what drives me every day: helping people feel better, live better, and thrive with confidence.

Looking ahead, what legacy do you hope to leave behind?

I want to lead by example and show that health doesn’t have to be hard, stressful, restrictive, boring, or overwhelming. There is so much we can do that creates a lasting, positive impact. Spend time outdoors, move your body for at least 30 minutes a day, laugh, smile, read a book, practice self-love, and lend a hand to someone in need. Small changes truly make a big difference. Start where you are, begin with what you can do, and keep growing. You are never too old to improve yourself.

Are there any local organizations, fitness centers, or wellness groups that have had a significant impact on your health journey?

With decades of experience in fitness and recovery, my biggest growth has come from going through the journey myself. I’ve been shaped by world renowned coaches during my competitions to instructors and professors during my certifications. Their guidance helped me build my foundation, and now I’m grateful to pass that knowledge on to my team and help shape their approach to wellness as well.

My passion for wellness began eight years ago during my mixed martial arts career, when I became committed to improving my health and building better habits. Over time, that personal journey turned into a true love for helping others feel their best.  My mom and I share that same passion, and together we created Reset Wellness Lounge — a luxury, intentionally designed wellness sanctuary where people can slow down, reset, and truly restore. We offer IV therapy, mobile IV therapy, contrast therapy (which includes our infrared sauna and cold plunge), red-light therapy, booster shots, and advanced recovery services in a calm, elevated environment you won’t find anywhere else in Naples.  We’ve also expanded with our mobile recovery suite, featuring dual cold plunges and a 12-person sauna, allowing us to bring high-end wellness experiences directly to homes, events, and private gatherings across Southwest Florida.  At the heart of Reset is a simple mission: to elevate the way our community experiences wellness, recovery, and intentional living.

How do you maintain healthy habits on a daily basis?

For me, maintaining healthy habits comes down to consistency, structure, and listening to my body. I’m a big believer that wellness isn’t something you do once in a while — it’s the small, daily choices that add up over time.  I start my mornings with intention, whether that’s hydration, movement, or a few minutes of silence before the day gets busy. I make time for recovery practices like sauna, cold plunge, and red-light therapy, because they help me stay clear-headed, energized, and physically balanced. Nutrition, sleep, and stress management are just as important, and I try to protect those as much as possible.  Running a wellness business also keeps me accountable — I’m surrounded by the same tools and practices I encourage others to use. But the biggest part is giving myself grace. Some days are structured, some aren’t, and that’s okay. The goal is progress, not perfection, and showing up for yourself in small but meaningful ways every single day.

I am a critical care Registered nurse with 28 years of clinical experience. Recently, I partnered with my colleague Ron Hunt M.D.- a board certified anesthesiologist with 38 years of medical expertise – to launch Alpha Regenesis. Alpha Regenesis is a regenerative medicine company specializing in RPA (Regenerative Protein Array) which is the next generation approach to cellular repair, anti-inflammatory recovery and tissue regeneration. RPA is different because it is derived from the placenta and contains over 80 cytokines, growth factors and interleukins. This advanced technology is designed to enhance overall wellness and is magnitudes more potent than stem cells, Amniox and PRP. Our mission extends beyond building a business - we aim to create a bridge between science and whole-person health.  We are dedicated to helping individuals experience renewal physically, mentally and spiritually – through the power of regenerative medicine and personalized wellness.

How do you maintain healthy habits on a daily basis?

Eating healthy and exercising most days seems to produce the best results for myself. Of course, with exercising and playing pickleball comes wear and tear on our bodies, which is where RPA seems to be the answer to help with increased energy and faster recovery not only with acute pain but also chronic pain. With no down time with RPA, you get back to enjoying your favorite activities almost immediately.

How would you describe the overall lifestyle in Naples? Would you say it's health-conscious?

The overall lifestyle in Naples is very health conscious with all the many golf courses, tennis and pickleball courts as well as the beaches and other outdoor activities to foster community and belonging, which are key to emotional well-being. Naples has been ranked #1 in the US for overall wellbeing by the Gallup-Sharecare/Healthways index for multiple years and with Alpha Regenesis, we plan on keeping Naples #1!

Jeffrey Delaney

Tell us about yourself and your business.*

My name is Jeffrey Delaney, and I’ve dedicated the last 25+ years of my life to one mission: helping people look, feel, and perform at their best by taking a proactive, disciplined approach to their health. My background is a blend of critical care, cardiopulmonary medicine, nutrition, hormone optimization and preventive health — all of which shaped the way I see wellness today. After spending years in the ICU watching people suffer from preventable conditions, I knew my calling was to help people before they reached that point. I co-created Nuviva Medical Weight Loss, a multi-phase, medically guided program designed to help men and women not only lose weight but learn how to maintain it for life. We built Nuviva backwards — starting with the end in mind. Everything we do focuses on long-term sustainability, personalized nutrition, accountability, and science-based coaching. Our goal is simple: help people get their energy, confidence, and happiness back through a system that actually works. I also founded T Clinics USA and later She Clinics USA, which are dedicated to helping men and women optimize their hormones, improve performance, and age with strength and vitality. We use cutting-edge therapies — from peptides, to hormone optimization, to advanced nutraceuticals — to help people regain passion, drive, and resilience well beyond their 30s. Across all my companies, my philosophy is the same: Proactive health shouldn’t require deep pockets – it requires commitment, education, and support. My goal is to make elite, preventive healthcare accessible and understandable so people can take control of their bodies and their lives. Everything I do — from clinics, to supplements, to speaking, to podcasts — is driven by the belief that health is the foundation for everything: better relationships, better leadership, better business, better life. My purpose is to empower people to live longer, healthier, more intentional lives, and to use the gifts God gave me to help others do the same.

How do you maintain healthy habits on a daily basis?

I stay healthy by choosing intention over autopilot. I start every day with movement, protein, and hydration; I strength train to protect my muscle and metabolism; I prioritize sleep and stress management; and I use science-backed tools to support longevity. Most of all, I stay consistent because I want to show up as the best father, husband, leader, and servant I can be. When your “why” is strong, your habits follow.
