A few years ago my wife Kari and I decided to give our sons legacy gifts now that they are adults. This year, we are compiling all our family recipes and putting them in a nice leather-bound binder. Each recipe has a story and is credited to a family member in our history. We hope they will add to it over time and continue to pass down the legacy. I try shop local as much as possible. I love supporting our local businesses and community!

The most exciting gift is to give to the ladies in my life. My wife Amy, my mother Kaym, my mother-in law Joan and three daughters Caroline, Camille and Cate. One of my favorite shops in Roswell is Lilly Sage Apothecary. Carol and the team always know the right gift - a great candle or facial cream, nice soaps and so much more. I love the scents in the shop and she always wraps them with love. Lilly Sage always knows the right gift for all of them.

I am printing one photo from each month from our family gatherings over 2022 and printing a calendar for my husband's office. Also, my daughter got engaged on the beach of Lake Michigan this summer, so I'm making a hardcover photo book for her and her fiancé. The High Museum shop always has interesting gifts too. Linen and Flax has such great clothing and I saw their faux leather joggers - perfect for my sister who is a gym teacher but loves a sassy outfit. Happy holidays!
