As co-owner of GreatFlorida Insurance of Gainesville, I am always looking for opportunities to connect with other successful women and learn from their experiences.
I met Kristy Moffat, owner of Brightway Insurance, The Moffat Agency, through the Gainesville Area Women’s Network. Over drinks, we talked about what it means to be a woman in insurance and to build an agency from the ground up. It did not take long for me to realize that Kristy stands out through her attention to detail and her passion for building community.
In our industry, when the phone rings, it is often a mom or wife calling to make sure her family is protected. Those conversations reflect something I see every day. Women are usually the ones planning ahead, asking thoughtful questions, and making sure nothing important is overlooked.
