What's Your Y?

Since 1967, the Missoula Family YMCA has been committed to meeting our community's most pressing needs by providing healthy, affordable options to Missoulians of all ages and backgrounds. Every year, nearly 20,000 people turn to our Y for a variety of programs and services—dependable child care, supportive group fitness classes, swim lessons, sports fundamentals, and so much more. What brings us together, though, is the shared belief that we are a stronger, healthier community when we work with and alongside one another.

For more than 50 years, our Y has kept its promise to welcome everyone through its doors, regardless of income. We do this by offering financial assistance and subsidizing our programs to keep prices affordable. When the pandemic struck our community, the Missoula Y quickly innovated. In the last eleven months, they've provided emergency child care for families of essential service workers and offered virtual workout options that keep people healthy and engaged. They've served tens of thousands of meals and helped prevent learning loss during modified school schedules through low-cost full-day enrichment programs for school-age students.

The Missoula Family YMCA is a community-based nonprofit charity. Their work is made possible thanks to generous donors and supporters who are deeply committed to their mission and impact. Each year, the Missoula YMCA Annual Support Campaign—held January through March—engages 80 volunteers and hundreds of donors who raise more than $300,000 to support our Y. All funds raised stay right here in Missoula to support YMCA programs and services.

The 2021 YMCA Annual Support Campaign kicks-off January 21. This year they have set a goal to raise $315,000 by March 11. Gifts are 100% tax deductible and may be made online at YMCAmissoula.Org/Donate. Checks may be made out to the Missoula Family YMCA and mailed Attn: Julie Hofbauer 3000 S. Russell St. Missoula, MT 59801.
