In part of its 50 year celebration, the International Wildlife Film Festival (IWFF) has partnered with the luxury global conservation travel company Rewild Safaris and currently booking spots on the week-long 2027 safari, September 19 to 26.
The history of the festival is rooted in showcasing the beauty of the natural world through the power of ethical filmmaking so it makes perfect sense that a safari to the Brazilian Pantanal would be offered to our community. After all, many of Brazil's Pantanal and its creatures have been featured in past films in the festivals over the years. It's also the world's largest tropical wetland and a United Nations World Heritage Site.
The week-long safari aims to bring travelers face to face with exotic birds, monkeys, and jaguars. Activities include jungle hikes, canoe outings, and riverside treks by horseback. Cultural experiences also await, like campfires with local guides and informational sessions on Indigenous and ranching cultures.
There's also an opportunity to view Brazil through a conservation lens as you explore hotter temperatures and areas that struggle with wildfires. What can we do to keep things healthy in this area?
The safari is limited to ten individuals of all abilities. Register soon to guarantee your spot!
