Where do you "Sunday-Funday"

We asked some New Braunfels Locals - Here's what they said!

Michael Mansfield

Owner & Executive Chef at Haus Cuisine Private Kitchen

“Sunday Fundays are usually grilling up some burgers or steak fajitas in the backyard and taking our kids to the splash pad at Fischer Park!”

Derek Thomas

Lighting Designer at Live Oak Lighting

“We like to meet up with friends and hit up Freiheit country store because it is kid-friendly, great music and their pies are so good. In Seguin, we like the power plant. The view of the waterfall is awesome and I like to geek out about the old electrical equipment. Night time one of our favorites is Moonshine and Ale. It is such a fun piano bar!”

Shaelynn McBee

Co-Owner of Love Story Boutique

“McAdoo's has the best Bloody Mary bar on Sundays! With their delicious menu, it’s always a good start to the day. Another favorite lately has been Lupe Tortilla! Another good hang out for Sundays is the Float In. Especially with this hot weather! Sip n Putt later in the evenings to catch the sunset - it's awesome. The options in NB are endless and that's what makes me love this town!

Christine Scott

Owner of Lomonico Photography

“Sunday is usually with the hubby at the river floating, kayaking, taking the dogs to the park, meal prepping on the bbq, or spending time with close friends”

Brenna Kading

Owner of Das Whitening Co.

“If we aren’t at Schlitterbahn during the summer then we love to be in the water before the tubers! Swimming/paddle boarding at Hinman Island or River Acres Park. The spring fed pool at Landa is relaxing.”
