Where Hormones Meet Heart Healing

Compassionate, tailored care nurturing balance, sexual health, and emotional wellbeing.

Founded by Dr. Jackie Piasta, Doctor of Nursing Practice and nationally recognized Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, Monarch Health is redefining what midlife healthcare can and should look like. The practice delivers personalized, science-driven care for individuals navigating perimenopause, menopause, and other midlife health transitions through a modern direct-care model.

Today, Dr. Piasta welcomes patients into a newly opened practice thoughtfully designed to support women and men through the complexities of midlife. From hormonal and metabolic health to sexual health, Monarch Health provides individualized care with clinical precision in a calm, intentional environment.

Below, Jackie shares how she built Monarch Health as a place where evidence-based healthcare, time, and setting work together to support long-term healthspan.

Monarch Health takes a comprehensive view of midlife health. What led you to build a practice around this model?

For years, I saw patients dismissed or fragmented across specialties—sleep issues sent one direction, mood another, weight gain another—without anyone addressing the common underlying drivers. Midlife is a period of profound physiologic change, and hormones play a central role, but they don’t exist in a vacuum.

I wanted to create a practice that treats the whole clinical picture, using time, education, and individualized care to actually help patients understand what’s happening in their bodies and what we can do about it

Many patients arrive feeling frustrated or unheard. How do you approach those concerns differently?

The biggest difference is time and what we do with it. Our direct-care model allows for longer visits and ongoing access, which means we can move beyond quick fixes and really partner with patients.

We focus on education, shared decision-making, and thoughtful treatment planning. When patients understand why something is happening and how their care plan supports both short- and long-term health, it changes everything.

Why is this integrated approach of addressing hormones, metabolism, and sexual health together so important?

Hormones influence nearly every system in the body—energy, sleep, body composition, mood, cardiovascular health, bone density, and sexual wellness. Treating one area without considering the others often leads to incomplete or temporary results.

By integrating hormone therapy, metabolic health, nutrition, and sexual health when appropriate, we’re able to deliver care that is both more effective and more sustainable over time.

Conversations around sexual health and midlife changes are often avoided in traditional care. How do you handle these topics at Monarch?

We treat them as what they are: normal, medical concerns that deserve the same attention as any other aspect of health. Creating a safe, judgment-free environment allows patients to ask questions they’ve often been carrying for years.

When clinicians are comfortable, informed, and evidence-based in these discussions, patients feel empowered rather than embarrassed—and that leads to better outcomes.

Monarch Health offers services ranging from hormone therapy to metabolic care and IV therapies. How do you determine what’s appropriate for each patient?

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to midlife health. Every plan begins with a thorough clinical assessment, evidence-based guidelines, and a patient’s individual goals and risk factors.

Some patients benefit from hormone therapy. Others need metabolic optimization, sleep support, or targeted nutritional strategies. Our role is to guide—not dictate—care, using science and clinical judgment to personalize each plan.

What changes do you see when patients finally receive this level of care?

Patients often tell me they feel like themselves again clearer, stronger, more confident in their bodies and decisions. But just as importantly, they feel informed and in control of their health.

That sense of agency is powerful. Midlife isn’t about decline, it’s an opportunity to recalibrate and invest in long-term wellbeing with intention and support.

Setting a New Standard for Midlife Healthcare

Monarch Health combines modern direct care, evidence-based medicine, and individualized support to deliver a higher standard of midlife healthcare—one that prioritizes time, access, and thoughtful partnership.

This is not trend-driven wellness. It’s informed, strategic care designed to help patients thrive now and protect their health for decades to come.
