Who Let the Dogs Out?

Treat Your Dogs to a Vacation of Their Own at Dog Gone Crazy

Vacation destinations are beginning to open back up again, and people need the perfect place for their furry friends to go while they are away. Well, look no further, because Dog Gone Crazy gives your dogs a vacation of their own while you are traveling.

Sandra Jenkins established Dog Gone Crazy in 2011. She and her husband purchased the property, which was an existing kennel, made some improvements and created Dog Gone Crazy. Sandra’s parents bred and showed champion German shepherds when she grew up, so dogs have always been a passion of hers. She left the construction business in 2011 to follow that passion and has not looked back.

“We’re located on six and a half acres and we have 84 kennels, but we can get up to about 114 dogs because we have family suites. Two to five dogs can be in a family suite depending on the dogs and the size of the suite. All of our kennels are indoor/outdoor with air conditioning and heating. They can go inside or outside all day, even if it’s raining,” Sandra says.

Dog Gone Crazy offers bath and nail services as well as extra playtimes and walks on their long trails towards the back of their property. Dog Gone Crazy also offers the option to board your cats in their “Kitty City” building.

Sandra’s mission is to provide a clean, affordable and safe place for pets that offers drop-off and pick-up seven days a week. Sandra says that, “Dog Gone Crazy has been recognized across the area for its sparkling clean canine and feline suites, outstanding customer service, flexible drop-off and pick-up times and affordable rates.”

Sandra and her husband both live on the property, so someone is always there 24/7. You can also take a tour of the property any day during the week between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. “The feedback from the people that we give tours to is always that we are the cleanest, most-staffed kennel. That is what sets us apart from other kennels – our staff and cleanliness,” Sandra says.

Twenty percent off discounts are also offered to military, fire and police. Dog Gone Crazy is located at 4070 Foskett Road, Medina, OH 44256. For more information about the kennel and its services, please visit their website at DogGoneCrazyKennels.com or call them at 330.273.1777.
