Even when someone is ready to ask for support, the cost of care can create another barrier. At the same time, providing thoughtful, high-quality therapy requires a pricing model that allows clinicians to feel supported and practices to remain sustainable.
At Reimagine Mental Health Collective, we believe both things can be true: therapy should be more financially accessible, and therapists should be fairly compensated for the care they provide.
That is why we are introducing a three-tier pricing model:
Supported Rate: $100 per session
For those who need additional financial breathing room. This rate is offered with care and without requiring clients to explain or prove their financial circumstances.
Standard Rate: $140 per session
This rate reflects the true cost of providing quality care while allowing our practice to remain healthy and sustainable.
Community Rate: $180 per session
For those with greater financial flexibility who would like to help make lower-cost therapy available to others in the community.
Every client receives the same level of care, regardless of the rate they choose. The difference is not in the quality of therapy, but in what each person is able to contribute.
This model recognizes that people have different financial realities. It also gives clients the opportunity to participate in creating a more accessible system of care, one where those who have more room can help create space for someone who may need it.
We know this approach does not eliminate every barrier to mental health care. It is one step toward building a practice that is more flexible, transparent, and responsive to the community we serve.
Because asking for support is already a vulnerable decision. Paying for therapy should not require someone to ignore their financial reality in order to receive the care they deserve.
