Dive into your passion for wine and giving at the 14th annual Aqua Vino at Georgia Aquarium on Friday, October 4, offering an exclusive opportunity to sample more than 150 wines from around the world, indulge in cuisine from more than 40 of Atlanta’s premier restaurants, and directly benefit Georgia Aquarium’s global research and conservation programs. This year Georgia Aquarium’s own wine, Seventy-One, will be available for tasting.
When you arrive at the Aquarium, select your first round of tastes and paired wines.
With your food and wine in hand, your next step is to choose which gallery you’d like to explore first. If you’re already longing for those bright summer days to continue, set course for Tropical Diver. If you’re more of the type that can’t wait for winter, take the plunge through Cold Water Quest. Here, you’ll come face-to-face with sea otters, beluga whales, penguins, and more.
A silent auction will feature exclusive Aquarium experiences, gift baskets, and elite packages from some of Atlanta’s leading businesses.
New to this year’s Aqua Vino, three ticket options are now available. The Grand Tasting includes a signature Aqua Vino wine glass, tastings, silent auction, live music, access to the Aquarium’s main galleries, and complimentary parking. Consider the VIP option this year and not only experience everything within the Grand Tasting, but also early 6:30 p.m. entry, exclusive VIP lounge access with reserve wines and featured tastings, and exclusive access to behind-the-scenes of the Tropical Diver reef exhibit. Or, go big with the Premium VIP option and add access to the Premium VIP lounge in the Oceans Ballroom and a premium gift bag valued at more than $285. Grand Tasting tickets are $95, VIP tickets are $175, and Premium VIP tickets are $250.
Aqua Vino tickets and silent auction proceeds directly support the wild counterparts to animals you see right at the Aquarium. Your attendance is helping rescue and rehabilitate penguins in South Africa just like the ones you see in Cold Water Quest. Take a moment to watch the whale sharks—your ticket is helping continue important conservation and science efforts that’ll keep them around for generations to come. Proceeds from this food and wine event benefits rescued Southern sea otters just like Aquarium newcomers, Mara and Gibson and other crucial aquatic research and conservation efforts across the globe.
