Since 1953, Alamo Electronics has been the region’s go-to for high-end home entertainment accessories and high-tech advice. Now, they’re proud to offer a completely remodeled showroom to serve customers like never before.
The updated showroom includes a number of components. One, for example, spotlights outdoor-specific entertainment options. Another showcases new conference room tech. Yet another demonstrates strategic lighting solutions, says Alamo’s Director of Service and Integration, Tim May. “We’ve also totally revamped our two theater rooms,” he adds. “People will notice a huge difference.”
For more than 70 years, Alamo has fine-tuned everything from black-and-white televisions to “smart” accessories and digital marvels. In addition to sales and installation, Alamo Electronics specialists are always standing by to offer troubleshooting, support, and customization to make home tech, like “smart home” connections, easy to implement.
“A ‘smart’ home can mean different things to different people,” Tim explains. “Generally, it can usually give you overall control of all the different amenities within your home. Some of these basic ones could be anything from motorized shades, thermostat control, lighting control, surveillance cameras, and working your audio and video from multiple rooms.”
Tim says that apps were a big step forward in adjusting these items around the house. And now, a touchscreen or a wall pad can be implemented for even more control and convenience.
The goal, Tim says, is to make technology even easier to navigate. And best of all, if you need help either implementing, setting up, streamlining, or connecting all your smart home components, Alamo can do that, too. And more.
“We don’t try to oversell,” explains Alamo Vice President Rick Senger. “We would rather design a tailored system that suits someone’s individual needs the best.”
Tim and Rick credit the company’s willingness to “change with the technology” as a major factor in the company’s longevity.
“We take a lot of pride in the fact that we’ve been in this area for so long,” Rick points out. “We’re always evolving, to stay current … but the community aspect is really important to us. The people we want to serve are our neighbors.”
