The Lopez family originally moved to Ogden from Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico. Today, they have successfully woven the vibrant cultures of Ogden and Jalisco into a single, welcoming experience. "We want people to walk in," explains David Lopez, "feeling like they just walked into a family's home."
This sentiment comes to life in the dining room, which features a stunning mural painted by a local artist. The artwork beautifully depicts deep cultural roots through Jalisco’s iconic agave plants, seamlessly intertwined with Ogden's historic train.

Xalisco's serves a wide variety of authentic Mexican food. Among the crowd favorites are their tamales, crafted from a cherished family recipe.
