Homemade Hot Chocolate Cocktail

As a child, hot chocolate and marshmallows were the go-to drink when cozying up by the fire after a hard day of playing in the snow. This holiday season, get in touch with your inner child and try your hand at a homemade hot chocolate cocktail with a little extra to warm you from the inside out.

Ingredients:

+ 4 cups of milk 

+ 4 tbsp cinnamon

+ 8 oz crushed Loveland Chocolate

+ 4 tbsp sugar

+ 1 tsp vanilla

+ Pinch of kosher salt

+ Dash of ground cayenne or chile

+ 3 oz Baileys Salted Caramel Liqueur

+ 3 oz Smirnoff Whipped Cream Vodka

Serving Size: 4 drinks

Directions:

+Bring milk and cinnamon to a simmer in a small saucepan. 

+Simmer for 5-10 minutes over medium-low heat, stirring often to avoid boiling.

+Stir in 4 ounces of crushed Loveland Chocolate until melted. 

+Add 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla, a pinch of kosher salt, and a dash of ground cayenne or chile and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently.

+Add Baileys Salted Caramel Liqueur and Smirnoff Whipped Cream Vodka.

+ Add your favorite toppings to customize your hot chocolate just the way you like it.
