Your Unique Prosper Boutique

Lily Claire has Expanded!

Becky Morris seems to have been destined to open this unique shop. She was the Fashion and Marketing Director at Saks Fifth Avenue obviously loved what she did in the fashion industry, which included producing runway shows and events for celebrities and many designers. Becky says, “It was a natural step for me to open my own store.”

Her former position of over 20 years included working with clients to provide them with styling guidance, wardrobe consulting, personal shopping, and closet cleanouts. She and her daughter, Lily, for whom the shop is named, share their passion for fashion and shopping, so they came up with the idea together. Recognizing the need for a cute boutique with a “small-town flair”, they decided to put their years as expert shoppers to good use.

Lily Claire’s customers have become very loyal quickly and apparently have fallen in love with the cute clothes that are offered. Becky is also excited that now, with many activities having renewed, people can get back out into the world and “do all the things now like weddings, vacations, parties, etc., that you need that dress for!”

Helping her clients, who range from ages 10 to 90, create an individual look, the shop offers pieces that range from modern to boho to vintage. They consider their style to be a great combination of lots of different elements and feel they have something for everyone. Becky says they love mixing high and low pieces, designer pieces with pieces from Target, and vintage and modern together. Their goal is to make their customers feel great about their own style.

Becky’s husband, Bill, also believed in their idea for the shop and has provided great insight into the retail business. She loves not just sharing the shop with her 17-year-old daughter, Lily, but knows that she is teaching her about how to run a business as well.

Her sister helps with the shop as well, making it a true family business.

Becky and Bill also have a 19-year-old son, Liam, who is a sophomore at the University of Arkansas. Lily is a senior at Prosper High School. The family is rounded out with three crazy, big dogs.

Now, if she just didn’t have to do all that paperwork— but you will find her smiling inside the shop at 201 S Main St in downtown Prosper, across from the new City Hall. Learn more at www.shoplilyclaire.com.
