Look Good Feel Healthy

Our skin is the largest organ in our body. It often reflects the life that we have had, the life that we are living and could predict what is in the future for us. If we reflect on this it would make sense why a lot of us consciously or unconsciously try to show it if it looks good and hide it if it does not. However, our skin cells regenerate every six weeks, grows from inside out such that the outer lawyer of it is usually the old and dead cells.

Like any other organ in our body, the skin needs nurturing so that it can continue to glow as it use to in our younger years. The basic needs for any organ come from our nutrition as well as the exposure to things that may harm it. Sun exposure, dryness, smoke and many other  environmental debris are known to harm the skin. Trauma and psychological issues, depression and anxiety are also important contributors to our healthy appearance. In contrast, essential nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, proteins and antioxidants are promoters of growth and health that  can reveal our general state of inner health through our skin appearance.
Because of these reasons I believe that taking care of your skin is part of the overall taking care of your body and soul., and any attempt that one can do to do that is loable. It is not just for beauty or cosmetic reasons why we should attend to the skin needs. Ultimately, if you approach these with healthy measures, you will not only look good but you will feel healthy.  I have always had a keen interest in promoting skin health as a part of the overall health of my patients. Over the years, I have developed a plan for our vitamins of Texas, that includes different ways of replacing, supplementing and replenishing our skin with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. You can replace these orally or can apply them directly to the skin as it is done in some novel cosmetic procedures. Because of those reasons, we now have joined with Concierge Cosmetics MD services in an effort to advocate for overall health and beauty.

I believe taking care of your skin is a measure of wellness and self care, not just but also a reason to look beautiful and feel youthful.
