Ethan Hammond, owner of Amen Corner Ponds, was just 13 years old when he worked for his dad’s pool and pond cleaning company. Ethan slowly realized how much he loved working with ponds and water features. When a client asked about rebuilding her waterfall, Ethan jumped at the chance to create something new. Ethan was just 13 when he became certified in pond construction. He was 17 when he became Aquascape Certified, and at the time (2015) he was the youngest certified Aquascape contractor in the world. It was then that Amen Corner was born. He decided to start Amen Corner in 2015 based on his innate passion for creating natural outdoor spaces. So when we say he’s passionate about ponds, has always known what he’s wanted to do, and will continue doing it without an end in sight – we mean it.
