Ela Mesa Taste of Greece was created from a lifelong dream to share the culture, flavors, and traditions of Greece with the Gaithersburg community. With more than twenty years of restaurant and hospitality experience, founders Georgios Papaevangelou and Ioannis Karageorgos opened Ela Mesa in 2022, inspired by the Greek philosophy of “Philoxenia,” the art of extending warmth and genuine hospitality. Their menu blends traditional ingredients with contemporary Greek dishes to create memorable dining experiences.
