Fast, fresh, and built around a fruit bowl that means business. How we got here You don't need an ocean to build a beach town — you just need Wedgewood Lane, a scoop of açaí, and about ninety seconds. Nautical Bowls started in 2018 a few miles away, when Rachel and Bryant Amundson — 24 years old, six months out from their first baby — decided the Twin Cities needed something that was actually good for you and actually tasted like it. They opened their first shop near Lake Minnetonka, hung a few surfboards on navy-and-white walls, and built a menu around real fruit and real speed. It caught on fast enough to go national. Here in Maple Grove, owners Bryant Bohlig and Matt Meyer brought that same idea to Wedgewood Lane, and it turned into a neighborhood habit fast — the stop after practice, the reset after a run, the thing you didn't know you were craving until a Nauti Bowl showed up with peanut butter and cacao nibs on top. What's in the bowl Every bowl starts with a fruit base — açaí, pitaya, Blue Majik, mango, coconut, your call — built up with granola, fresh fruit, nut butters, and superfood toppings. Everything's plant-based and free of gluten, dairy, and soy. No shortcuts, no mystery ingredients, no long wait. Just a full, genuinely good meal, made the same way every time.
