About Us

Sweetwater Branch Inn offers boutique lodging and events, located in historic Gainesville, walking distance to downtown. Consisting of the Victorian Cushman-Colson House (1885) and McKenzie House (1895), listed on the National Registry of Historic Places, as well as a collection of cottages decorated in styles ranging from Victorian to 1920s, the Inn contains an assortment of beautifully and uniquely-styled rooms. Guests of the inn have a breakfast spread included every morning, to-go wine and cheese hour, and access to a heated saltwater pool and jacuzzi. Stays also include complimentary bike rental, parking, and Wi-Fi. The McKenzie Hall and House offer a large and small event venue, featured in the Knot Best of Weddings Hall of Fame, but also regular hosts to business events, wellness retreats, and parties of all kinds.
