About Us

The Wandering Jellyfish Bookshop is a locally-owned, community-oriented indie bookstore in historic downtown Niwot, CO. We sell books, toys, and gifts for the young and the young at heart. With 20 years of experience in the children’s writing and illustrating industry, Carissa Mina and Jerilyn Patterson have a fiery passion for promoting good books and fostering community. Combining their passions of writing and reading, Carissa and Jerilyn built The Wandering Jellyfish Bookshop into a magical space where both readers and writers can gather, create, and share ideas. Not only does The Wandering Jellyfish feature a curated selection of books and gifts, but they also offer storytimes, author events & signings, author salons, and writing workshops for adults and children.
