Stretching summer into fall is an art well practiced by the warmth-loving faithful in beautiful SW Lake County, who are always looking for the best leads on transitioning into autumn in style.
“We just went to Stylemax (women’s show) and The Chicago Collective (men’s show) at the Merchandise Mart, and found some new brands we’re adding for both women and men, for both fall and for the holidays,” says Linda Starkey, owner of Threads Boutique, a previous “Best of SW Lake” winner for both men’s and women’s attire. Threads offers a wide variety of casual comfort and upscale brands, with a special niche for locally branded duds touting local allegiances, the lake life and celebrating all this good weather while we still have it. “We’re also excited to be expanding our shoe and boot selections.”
Frequent Threads shoppers stretch their fashion dollar by using the Fivestars app, a rewards program Threads uses to extend special sales and offers to their repeat customers. Threads often partners with other local businesses and events to bring their fashions further forward; for example, they’re holding sidewalk sales each Thursday afternoon from 4 to 7 p.m. through October 3 in support of the weekly Wauconda Farmers Market.
Brands modeled in the accompanying photo shoot include Tempo, Very Volatile, La Vie Parisienne, Aratta, MRena, Papillon, Elan, Mizumi, Adorro, Meghan Browne, Blu Heaven, Flag & Anthem, and U.E.S.
Threads Boutique is located in the newly renovated Main St. Center at 118 S. Main Street, Wauconda. For more information search @ShopThreadsWauconda on Facebook, visit ThreadsForAll.com online, or call 847.457.4394.
