Kent McCurdy is the owner of Brute Force Training Center. Kent is a native of Colorado, for he grew up in the small town of Hotchkiss in Western Colorado where he met his wife Danielle of over 20 years. He graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in Kinesiology and prior to starting this business, spent a season as a Strength and Conditioning Coach with the Colorado Rockies and the Colorado Springs Sky Sox.
Last month Brute Force Training Center celebrated its 10 year anniversary of serving residents of Arvada and the surrounding area. October also marked the 10th Birthday of Kent and Danielle’s youngest child Adelyn, thus the reason for them opening the gym.
In addition to their daughter, they have two boys, Ian (15) and Nathan (11), 2 dogs (Tiegan and Ziggy), and a Bearded Dragon(Echo).
When not at the gym, you’ll find them either at the lake wakeboarding and surfing or on the mountain skiing and snowboarding.
