Neil Anand is one of those people. After a childhood growing up in Fairfield, he eventually decided to lay down roots here both personally and professionally. Not only does he live here, he is the owner/operator of ComForCare Home Care, whose headquarters are in town. “I feel fortunate to own a business in a town I love”, says Neil. He acknowledges how much the town has grown since he was a kid, noting that between the beach, the food, and the art and music scenes, there is something here for everyone. “If there is a new restaurant or venue in town, I will be there to check it out, and probably become a regular.” Neil is also an active member of the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce and supports the Bigelow Senior Center.
The son of physicians, Neil saw at a young age the impact caring for people had on entire families. “I was able to see firsthand how important it is to help others in need. It’s a powerful lesson for everyone, especially a young kid.” After a successful career in marketing, Neil decided it was time to combine his entrepreneurial mind with his healthcare DNA. He quickly recognized that with the growing aging population, senior care is an important, fast growing industry.
