Giving to our Businesses and Community:

Greeley Area Chamber of Commerce - A message from the President and CEO

The Greeley Area Chamber has been a leading organization for over 100 years, standing on the front-line, representing business with 700 investors.  As the third largest Chamber in Northern Colorado, we are a strong, unified voice with regional reach.

This past year has been full of stories of hardship but more importantly, incredible collaboration and resilience. We have so much to be proud of here in Greeley. We are growing with our population expected to top 150,000 by 2040.  In fact, we just surpassed Boulder as the 11th largest city in Colorado.  24/7 Wall Street recently named Greeley the fastest growing city in Colorado, buoyed by new residential developments and a strong business sector. We are making an impact. This is no surprise because we are tough - pioneering, rugged, independent - just like the businesses engrained in the Northern Colorado economy. Our state has their eyes on us, relying on us to be a force to come back stronger than ever in building back the heart of our communities! We are the best place to do business in the NOCO region from small boutique businesses to large industries with global impact. Our businesses make life better for thousands of Coloradans and our Chamber is proud to support them!

Our organization prides itself on setting the trends and being innovative.  We know the chances to collaborate with investors are endless. Our small businesses are excited about our latest offering, “Morning Buzz…warms up the cold call”, which offers our investors a chance to connect with 9 other Chamber investors and get some business done to start the day right.  We have so many opportunities for our investors to be involved in, including our Leads, Ambassadors, Agriculture and Local Government Business Affairs committees. Upcoming signature events include our Agriculture Tour and something brand new this fall …. stay tuned!

Our large employers appreciate our strong voice that advocates for educating the community about what is needed to be robust and to grow. We are beginning a new initiative that will help our investors with their one of their biggest concerns - workforce.  The Chamber’s Workforce Opportunity Initiative, a public-private partnership, will re-launch the young professional’s presence, renovate our digital spaces, and help employers connect, recruit, and retain their workforce. Chambers of Commerce across the country were founded on the principal of business survival and continue to make an even stronger impact today as they see partners though changing conditions.   Some of the most meaningful work we accomplished during the pandemic was the incredible effort of our Greeley Area Recovery Fund, helping 280 businesses when they needed it most.  This was a testament to the way this city cares and takes care of each other.   The initiative of the talented board of directors that led this fund was second to none.

What we want most is the success of each of our businesses.  Our team at the Chamber is proud and grateful to represent them, to be their voice and to advocate on legislation that impacts them.  As a referral source to drive business success, we work without ceasing in honoring that partnership.  Our businesses are an inspiration and are why we do what we do. I know that whatever the future holds, we are up to the challenge.

The Greeley area is resilient and, as always, is coming together in incredible ways.  I am confident there is nothing we cannot do!  If you want to learn more or invest in the Greeley Area Chamber, please connect with me at jaime@greeleychamber.com.
