Mocktail Party

These Alcohol-Free Concoctions By Priceless Caterings Will Dress Up Any Occasion in the New Year

Ring in the new year with these delicious and sophisticated mocktails courtesy of Priceless Caterings. These alcohol-free concoctions are sure to please all party-goers.

Lavish Lavender 

Makes 1 

Ingredients

1/4 cup Fresh Lemon Juice

1 1/2 Tbsp Lavender Simple Syrup (See below)

1/4 tsp Grenadine

3 dashes Bitters

Instructions

Combine above in shaker with ice and shake until cold. Strain into glass and top off with club soda. Garnish with fresh lavender. (Optional: add a bit of blue food coloring give it a beautiful hue. Not even a full drop, just a tiny bit on the end of a toothpick.)

Lavender Simple Syrup

Combine 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup sugar, and 1 Tbsp dried lavender to a sauce pan. Bring to a boil then turn off the heat. Let mixture cool in the pan and then strain out the lavender.

Peachy Keen

Makes 2

Ingredients

1 cup peach juice/peach nectar

2 cups sparkling soda water

1 ounce grenadine

Instructions

Pour the peach juice over ice in a highball glass. Fill with soda.

Slowly pour the grenadine into the drink - it will sink to the bottom and gradually rise, integrating into the drink.

Moonlight & Roses
Makes 4
Ingredients
For the Mocktail:
1 cup rosemary syrup (you may have a little extra leftover)
1 1/2 cups 100% grapefruit juice
3-4 cups club soda

For the Rosemary Simple Syrup:
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
3-4 fresh rosemary sprigs

Garnish:
Fresh rosemary sprigs
Grapefruit slices

Instructions
For the Rosemary Syrup:
Put water and sugar in a small pot over medium high heat.
Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally, until sugar is fully dissolved.
Remove from heat and add rosemary sprigs.
Cover pot and allow syrup to steep for about 30 minutes, until it is room temperature.

For the Rosemary Grapefruit Mocktail:
Combine rosemary syrup, grapefruit juice and club soda in a pitcher, or in individual cups and serve immediately over ice. Garnish glasses with fresh rosemary sprigs and a slice of grapefruit if desired.


Winter Blues Beater
Make 2
Ingredients
2-1/4 cups blueberries
1 cup water
1/4 cup sugar (or sugar substitute like Stevia)
1 Tbsp grated fresh ginger
2 Tbsp and 1-3/4 teaspoons crushed ice
2 Tbsp orange juice
1/4 cup club soda
1 slice orange (optional)

Instructions
Bring blueberries, water, sugar and ginger to a boil in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, crushing the blueberries occasionally with a masher. Remove from heat and let cool, about 10 minutes. Pass the mixture through a food mill or fine mesh sieve to remove the skins of the blueberries. Set aside 1/4 cup syrup and store the remainder in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Step 2
Place crushed ice in a glass. Add reserved blueberry-ginger syrup. 

Pomp & Circumstance 
Makes 1
Ingredients
2 ounces 100% pomegranate juice
1 ounce freshly squeezed orange juice or high-quality orange juice
1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
2 ounces sparkling water or seltzer*
Ice, for serving
Garnishes (Optional):
pomegranate arils, lime or orange slices, frozen cranberries, fresh mint, or fresh rosemary

Instructions
Fill an 8-10 ounce glass halfway full with ice. Add pomegranate juice, orange juice, and lime juice to your glass. Stir well to combine. Pour seltzer/sparkling water over the juice mixture and garnish with any desired garnishes.
