Let's party with Lauren Schweibold of Madison Events, the organizer of local premier events

After spending nearly 15 years in event planning and development roles at leading financial institutions and non-profit organizations, Lauren Schweibold decided it was time for a change. She began her career at Bear Stearns where she planned the firm's largest and highest-profile conferences and executive events. Lauren’s corporate experience expanded at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods before she transitioned into the non-profit sector, working as the philanthropy event director at the Humane Society of the United States. Little did she know, later in her career, Lauren would marry these two passions of hers together in the most exquisite way.

Today Madison Events is a highly personalized, concierge-style event planning company based in Greenwich, CT that serves the local tri-state area. Lauren's team is small by design to ensure they carry out your exact vision with the utmost attention to detail catering to every client need and focus. Her work is breathtaking and filled with gorgeous floral arrangements, thoughtful details that truly elevate the party to a whole new level and incredible themes that make celebrating life's precious moments even more special. It is no wonder she has worked with countless celebrities, Fortune 500 CEOs and other high-profile individuals on their personal events, conferences, weddings, and client entertainment outings.

Aside from the incredible work Lauren does bringing special moments to life right before our eyes, she is an avid supporter of several charitable organizations and frequently donates her time to plan fundraising events on a national and local scale. Lauren's passion for volunteering started at an early age and was a trait she happily adopted from her parents, which is why it has naturally become a core part of the Madison Events business. Lauren has worked with The Bruce Museum, the Fortune Society, Minds Matter, and the River Fund, to name a few. She is also an avid animal lover and has been actively helping homeless animals through networking, fostering and fundraising since college.

Lauren is very excited to announce the next phase of her company that will continue embracing the philosophy of giving back through a new partnership she recently formed with SPCA Westchester, one of the oldest humane societies in the United States and only organization empowered to enforce animal cruelty laws in Westchester County. Every event hosted by Madison Events, now saves ten homeless dogs. Funds and resources are donated to the SPCA Westchester Rescue/Transport/Adopt Program, which provides dogs and puppies with their “ticket to freedom.” The donation covers the cost of the animals’ vaccines, health certificate and transportation to the SPCA where they start the next chapter of their lives on their journey to their forever home. Through the SPCA’s Rescue/Transport/Adopt Program, more than 10,000 lives have been saved to date. The goal is to make a commitment towards ending the suffering of dogs who live in overcrowded, high-risk shelters where they have little to no chance of being adopted.

When Lauren isn't busy planning or volunteering, you may see her around town with her husband and three young children. She loves discovering new restaurant offerings and - you guessed it - keeping a pulse on the latest event design trends!

As you begin to think ahead about the second half of 2023 (and beyond) that is likely filled with milestone birthdays, baby and bridal showers, graduations, weddings and more, it's worth taking a moment to peruse Lauren's website and social media pages to take a look at her capabilities. You'll get lost in the beauty of her creativity and be in awe at the level of sophisticated detail oozing from every photo and event. Madison Events only takes on a select number of clients and events each year, so it's important to grab Lauren before it's too late.
