As summer slowly lets go in Oklahoma City, many are looking towards the fall.

Whether you're grilling up steaks on the deck or making your list for Thanksgiving, Water's Edge Winery in downtown Oklahoma City has the perfect pairings of wine for your coming events.

Made locally with the world’s finest grapes, Waters Edge Winery – OKC is a family-owned winery offering its own handcrafted wines. The winery doors are open Wednesday-Sunday, is located at 712 N. Broadway, and has event space available.

Check out Owner Roger Cude's picks for fall:

Belle of the Ball California Chardonnay - The "big white" has lush golden butter that is smooth and mouth-filling. The clean, lingering oak finish makes it a great choice for grilled fish or chicken dinners with friends.

VCR - Vieux Chateau Du Roi - From the Rhone Valley of France, this is a full-bodied Grenache/Shiraz/Mourvedere blend. The complex character features aromas of black fruits and is a great compliment to beef and root vegetable dinners or as a nightcap with a cigar on the patio.

Ranch 11 Lodi Valley Cabernet Sauvignon - With rich tannins, oak , black pepper and spice, combined with cherry and black currant, Ranch 11 is ready and wating for a 2-inch ribeye to compliment and break down the marbling in a delicious experience.

Almond Sparkling Wine - A sparkling wine with hints of almond, this is a perfect compliment to fall s'mores or as a great base for the mimosas and poinsettias at Sunday brunch.
