Shula’s Steak House Serves Up Exceptional Cuisine at Gila River Hotels & Casinos – Wild Horse Pass

For those with a taste for perfection, your table is awaiting at Shula’s Steak House at Gila River Hotels & Casinos – Wild Horse Pass. Founded by the legendary football coach of the Miami Dolphins, Don Shula, Shula’s has a polished history of delivering consistently high quality, chef-driven cuisine paired with award-winning wine lists and craft cocktails.

Since opening at Wild Horse Pass in 2009, Shula’s Steak House has delighted guests with its menu of premium cuts of steak made from Black Angus beef, hand-selected and aged to perfection. The restaurant’s most popular featured entrée, which is sure to satisfy even the heartiest of appetites, is its 22-ounce, dry-aged Cowboy Ribeye.

As of recently, Shula’s Steak House brought back its lunch menu and will be serving lunch on a daily basis. Diners can now enjoy a gourmet and extensive lunch menu featuring an array of starters, salads, entrées, sandwiches, burgers and desserts.

To set the stage for a premier lunch experience, you can pick from signature starters including the Tuna Tartare, Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail, Crispy Calamari, Tomato Bisque or French Onion Soup.

For the main course, entrées like the Roasted Chicken accompanied with Pomme Puree and a Spinach and Lemon-thyme Chicken Jus; Seared Scallops served with Saffron, Fennel Creamed Corn and Beurre Blanc; and Roasted Salmon served with Fricassee Asparagus and a Warm Béarnaise Vinaigrette will leave you wanting more.

Additional main course items include lunch salads, from a Wedge topped with Apple Wood-smoked Bacon, Tomato Jam, Blue Cheese and Heirloom Tomatoes, to a Chopped Salad topped with Feta Cheese, Olives, Tomatoes, Field Greens, and a Lemon-oregano Vinaigrette.

The lunch menu also offers an assortment of sandwiches and burgers like the Shula Burger, Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Veggie Burger, BLT Sandwich, Steak Sandwich and Bacon Grilled Cheese Sandwich. Complete your meal by pairing your main course with one of the sides, which include Poached Asparagus, Hand-cut Fries, Pomme Puree or Napa Coleslaw.

Make sure you save room for dessert because you won’t want to miss out on Shula’s Warm Donuts, Seasonal Fruit and Sorbet, Cheesecake or its Seven-layer Chocolate Cake topped with Raspberry Coulis and Whipped Cream.

In addition to its new lunch menu, Shula’s Steak House refreshed its dinner menu, adding several new items. Indulge in the Wagyu Short Rib Sliders topped with Philly Cheesesteak Sauce and Crispy Shallots. Or, choose a crowd favorite–the Wagyu Beef Meatball topped with Parmesan, Whipped Ricotta and Basil Persillade, which is quite popular among patrons.

Notable new dinner entrées include a Surf and Turf option which includes a 6 oz. Filet and Lobster Tail, served with Béarnaise, Drawn Butter and Lemon, as well as the Twin Maryland Crab Cakes and the Norwegian Salmon for seafood lovers.

Shula’s Steak House at Wild Horse Pass is open for lunch Monday through Sunday, 11:30 a.m. -2:30 p.m. Dinner is available Sunday through Thursday from 5-10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 5-11 p.m. Shula’s will be open on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve, and feature a prix fixe menu with holiday favorites.
