The collective market, at 5541 Chestnut St., is where over fifty local creators and designers offer everything from the latest in fashion to delightful hand-poured candles and everything in between. "Each visit is a unique experience that offers a completely different variety of items each time," says owner Susan Brewer. It's all displayed in a beautiful boutique that is housed in an 1850s home.
And that’s just the inside of the shop. There are more items in the small barn out back.
Also outside, there are goats and chickens residing in Blooming Daisy Farm who are definitely a favorite of children and adults alike. Bring a picnic to enjoy on the patio, by the fire pit, or in the covered pavilion. Or, order your favorites from nearby Plank Road Pizza, 1798 BBQ or Cottleville Cookies and Cream. Then stay and play your favorite yard games that are available here.
If it’s the third Saturday of the month in April-October, you’ll enjoy the Farmers/Makers Market from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Here you will find fresh produce, vintage items, home decor, fashions and much more.
This summer, they're also hosting Movies on Main Street--Cottleville. These are free community events that feature a family movie, including Toy Story, Monsters Inc. and Jurassic Park in the gardens.
In November, there’s a special Shop Small Event on the Saturday after Thanksgiving that offers the perfect start to your holiday shopping.
