Picture Perfect Picnic

Summer and picnics go together like cheese and crackers. Local real estate agent Teri Nicely noted some of her favorite places around town for a picture-perfect picnic.

Blackburn Park in Webster Groves features a 38-acre park including ballfields, tennis courts, walking paths, and a bird sanctuary.  Walker Park in downtown Kirkwood includes a bubbling fountain, beautiful bronze turtles, and a unique butterfly chair.  Kirkwood Park features a fishing lake, amphitheater, community center, ice arena, racquet center, playground, horseshoe pits. Carissa Roller and her son Eli (pictured) picnic under the trees at Kirkwood Park before heading off to the Aquatic Park. Laumeier Park is one of the first and largest dedicated sculpture parks in the country with more than 70 works of large-scale outdoor sculpture throughout the 105-acre park.
