About:
I’m a sophomore at Sammamish High School, and just recently self-published a collection of poetry on Amazon, walking down the sensory strip, highlighting my path through life as a young woman of color. I’m donating all proceeds of my book to Udayan Care, which fosters love, guidance, and education to poor, and orphaned children throughout India. I also dedicate my time to inspiring elementary students through Creative Poetry Class at Open Window School.

(n) the feeling that even though you trudge strenuously through sandy desperation
the camel only moved a foot when miles
of dunes role through your lens
