It's always fun when you get to share a story of a fellow Westfield native, especially someone with whom you went to school. Dr Bryan Kasperowski is just that, having attended Westfield High School around the same time I did. Back then, the focus was sports, academics, and where you were going to college. And, perhaps for Bryan, there was a sense of knowing what he was going to do "when he grew up." His father, Alan Kasperowski, founded Kasperowski Family Dentistry in 1976 at 79 Broad St in Westfield. Dr. Kasperowski's focus on quality dentistry and patient-centered care resulted in practice growth. The facility expanded in 2003, when Bryan's brother Chad joined the practice.  Bryan assumed ownership in 2014, and is now joined by Dr. Meghan Kelley.

What do you love about serving the Westfield community?

I was raised here and I have a connection to Western MA.  I value the relationships we have fostered throughout the years with patients who trust us for their dental care.

What are you doing to provide a safe environment for your patients during this time?

We are fortunate to have facility space to maintain social distancing and all treatment rooms are separate.   Our practice is annually evaluated by an independent third party consultant to meet or exceed infection control, CDC, and OSHA standards.  Dental offices have historically been very good at maintaining surface cleanliness due to the nature of our profession, so these concepts are not new to us.  The biggest change for us has been an investment in very high-end air filtration units throughout the office to provide exceptional air quality for our patients and team.

Why is good dental hygiene so important?

Dental hygiene is important for physical and emotional well being.  Maintaining healthy teeth and gums can help avoid tooth loss that would impact function.  In addition, high bacteria levels and inflammatory byproducts often found in gum disease have been thought to contribute to many systemic diseases.  Not to mention, a healthy smile is very important for many people's self confidence.

Why choose Kasperowski Family Dentistry?

As a team we have adopted a motto of  "People First".  Every single thing that happens in our office aligns with this principle.  A simple concept for sure, but when applied to all aspects of the patient experience it makes a big difference. We combine new technology with years of experience to deliver a high level of care to all of our patients.

"We truly have an amazing team at Kasperowski Family Dentistry.  We all work well together and everyone strives to deliver on our mission of People First!" Dr. Bryan Kasperowski, DMD FAGD
