New Fan Entrance for Better Access
A brand-new entrance on Greenway Hayden Loop, near 18 tee, will streamline crowd flow, especially on high-attendance days like Friday and Saturday. It shortens the walk for fans heading to popular areas like holes 16, 17, and 18.
Fully Digital Ticketing Platform
For the first time, all general admission and Coors Light Birds Nest tickets will be digital-only. This upgrade ensures a smoother entry process and improves crowd management.
Upgraded Venues – Taylor Morrison Fairway House
The Fairway House at the 12th hole will feature a redesigned layout with better viewing areas, expanded concessions, and new fan engagement opportunities.
Enhanced Desert Oasis BBQ and Beer Garden
Near the 7th hole, this fan-favorite venue offers elevated views of multiple holes, delicious craft beers, and barbecue from Little Miss BBQ in an improved, more spacious setting.
Concert in the Coliseum
The tournament kicks off two days early with the fourth annual Concert in the Coliseum. This year’s headliners? None other than Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, delivering a show-stopping start to the week.
Expanded Spectator Walking Areas
Walkways have been widened near high-traffic areas, like between holes 16 and 10, making it easier for fans to move comfortably throughout the course. Essential, given the WMPO continues to be one of the largest-attended golf tournaments in the world.
Bigger and Better Merchandise Tent
The merchandise tent, already a fan-favorite stop, has grown again! This year, it’s expanded to an impressive 31,000 square feet, making it the largest in tournament history.
A Legendary 90th Anniversary Celebration
The 2025 edition marks the 90th playing of the WM Phoenix Open, celebrating its long history as one of golf’s most exciting and fan-focused events.
Tournament History and Drama
The WM Phoenix Open regularly delivers nail-biting finishes. For example, in 2024, Nick Taylor claimed victory in a two-hole playoff against Charley Hoffman – the sixth playoff finish in the last nine years.
Giving Back to the Community
Hosted by The Thunderbirds, the event has raised over $208 million for charity since its inception, including a record $17.5 million in 2024 alone.
