Goo Goo Chocolate Co., located on 3rd Avenue in Nashville, is home to America’s first combination iconic candy bar, the Goo Goo Cluster, which originated in Nashville in 1912.
The downtown store is offering two chocolate covered boozy experiences - the Secrets of Goo Goo, a wine and chocolate pairing class, and Goos & Booze, a whiskey and chocolate pairing class. In these ticketed sessions, guests get the chance to learn more about the brand’s history, the role of a chocolatier and the chocolate making process and, of course, how to pair these specialty sweet treats with local wine and spirits.
The Secrets of Goo Goo experience is perfect for the wine enthusiast, pairing beautiful handmade bonbons with multiple wines locally sourced from Arrington Vineyards. And spirits will surely be lifted during the chocolate and libation Goos & Booze class, as attendees taste offerings from some of Tennessee's best distilleries along with Goo Goo chocolates.
