1200 Broadway

Upscale Living in the Gulch

A new high-rise has changed the Nashville skyline once again. 1200 Broadway officially opened in December and the 313 apartments are quickly filling up. It’s Nashville’s first renter-by-choice apartment complex. The one building holds three space concepts: retail, residential, and commercial. Lauren Rogers, the community director for the residential and commercial space, says, “It’s an elevated way to live that Nashville’s never seen.”

Whole Foods dominates the first floor and is compared to their lavish Austin headquarters. Residents have the convenience of taking the elevator down to do their grocery shopping or having a quality meal. It will be a dining destination more than anything on top of all of the fantastic restaurants within walking distance in the Gulch. Elaborate events hosted at 1200 Broadway are always catered by local restaurants such as Mockingbird and Emmy Squared.

The eighth floor begins the condo-like apartments featuring authentic hardwood floors, 5-range gas burners, and floor-to-ceiling windows. Casella Interiors were brilliant in creating their contemporary design with romantic touches. They imported many fixtures and materials from Turkey. The top two floors consist of 11 gorgeous penthouses. Saving the best for last, the rooftop sky deck presents unobstructed 360 views of the city, so residents can enjoy a glass of
wine while watching the sunset.

No details were left out of their first class amenities. There’s a huge entertainment and lounge area with flat screen TVs and a cozy fire pit. In the summer, residents can relax in a private cabana after taking a dip in the resort-style 70’ infinity pool. The fitness center will satisfy any fitness goals with its Peloton bikes, interactive kickboxing machine, CrossFit station, and complementary classes and customized workouts with Shawn Booth. With the 24 hour concierge service, dry cleaning, package deliveries, dinner reservations, and more will be taken care of. “That’s our modern way of offering white glove service,” says Lauren.

HKS architects and Endeavor Real Estate Group have been working on this project for the past six years. They’ve successfully built a beautiful property that everyone can appreciate, but especially second homeowners. Lauren explains, “They have a really nice house in Brentwood or Franklin, but they need a place to stay when they watch a Preds game or a concert at Bridgestone.”

1200 Broadway is filling a void in Nashville. It’s the over-the-top luxury, impressive design elements, convenience, and high standards that dwellers have been waiting for.
