The 2020 Cadillac CT5 has made its debut, and the team at Cadillac of Novi can get you into one.
“The CT5 is a brand new model on the marketplace, brand new this year,” executive manager of Cadillac Novi Edward Pobur explained. “It’s kind of taking the place of CTS, but the slot that it fits into is in between our old CTS and old ATS. It’s a little bit smaller than the old CTS but not by much, just a couple of inches.”
The CT5 has a 10-speed transmission and a choice of rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, and like most of Cadillac’s vehicles (minus the Escalade), it includes Automatic Stop/Start, which can help you save fuel by turning off your vehicle’s engine when not needed.
“It’s a little cumbersome in the beginning when you first get the car, but once you’re driving it for a minute, you’ll figure it out,” Pobur said. “Obviously this thing is a good thing. It’s on the foreign cars and the domestic cars. The cars that don’t have it yet are the cars that haven’t been redesigned yet.”
