Is Your Body in Slow Motion?

PERSONAL STORY TIME

I chronically underate and over-exercised for 10 years of my life.

Every red flag signals my body sent me I ignored:

  • Irregular periods
  • Cyclical anxiety
  • Racing thoughts
  • Low libido
  • Stubborn belly fat/puffiness
  • Joint pain
  • Hair loss
  • Shitty immune system (always sick)
  • Dy skin
  • Peeing constantly all day (dehydration)
  • Fatigue/exhaustion
  • Slow pulse/heart rate
  • Cold extremities
  • Low blood pressure

MY WHOLE BODY WAS IN SLOW MOTION… my metabolism was trashed! It was trying to conserve any bit of energy it possibly could!

This was all the result of trying to be skinny and be "worthy" to what I thought society praised as a "perfect" body.

I want to reiterate to you today that you may be chasing after instant gratification with a quick-fix diet that have you starving yourself and living in a state of restriction, BUT I want you to know that the repercussions of doing this to yourself will be exacerbated later on AND NOT IN A GOOD WAY.

Our society is getting more and more chronically unhealthy (both mentally and physically), and I believe extreme dieting is at the backbone of a lot of this. We need to nourish our bodies, give them rest, and treat them well because if we don't, they are going to fight us like hell.

When I finally walked away from the mentality of:

  • More Restriction
  • More Exercise
  • More Willpower

To:

  • Nourishing my body
  • Balancing my plate
  • Strength training
  • Proper hydration
  • Circadian rhythm
  • Support

THEN my body and mind did a complete 180. I have never been more content, calm, and happy within my skin and eating.

If you feel you can relate to this, I highly recommend checking out my Gray30 course HERE
