Deb Bowman’s decade-long dream was to produce a holiday record, so she put on her favorite red velvet dress and made it happen in true Dynamo Deb style.
The album features Dynamo Deb & Her Big Love Band featuring Arthur D. Turner, Ken Gregory, Craig Shaw, and Jared Lanham. All based in Buckhead, Deb started studio sessions in January 2020, recording five songs following a busy 2019 holiday season where she performed 34 shows in 25 days leading up to Christmas.
The album was set to release on Thanksgiving 2020. The pandemic stalled so many artists, but Big Love picked up the project in August 2021 and made musical magic - crafting the five remaining songs on the record at 800 East Studios. The hustle to get it mixed, mastered and ready for distribution in a very short few weeks has truly been a labor of love from Bowman’s heart and soul.
Big Love’s pianist, Arthur D. Turner, calls it a truly heartfelt record that audiences will relate to. “A Big Love Holiday” incorporates sacred songs, traditional classics, and two original songs that Deb Bowman wrote. “There Will Be Christmas” is about cherished memories of the past and present, and sharing those throughout future seasons. Broadway-style “Tinsel Everywhere” shares both Hanukkah and Christmas love.
