At its core, The Water’s Fine goods + coffee is a celebration of modern design in the form of a curated selection of home goods, jewelry and gifts. Handmade by artisans and small businesses, many products express a minimalistic, nature inspired aesthetic. We carry thoughtfully sourced items from around the world, such as colorful linens and wooden brushes from Europe, apothecary and candle selections from Brooklyn, incense from Japan, and ceramics and hand-carved spoons from local artisans.
After a long career in corporate design and marketing, I decided to create a local concept store. Inspired by hybrid store/cafes, I felt the time and location were right for such a venture and opened the store on Nov. 1, 2018.
I was fortunate to have secured a spot on Cottage Street in Easthampton and to expand into the space next door one year later. The store is now an expansive, light-filled and welcoming retail space with greenery, vintage decor and art that mixes seamlessly with a unique assortment of goods. In the center is an espresso bar with specialty beverages and pastries and just a few steps outside our back door are cafe tables with a beautiful view of the pond.
The atmosphere is casual and inviting. Customers are greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff and the smell of fresh coffee and unique candle scents. We frequently hear customers exclaim “Oh, I wish I could live here”.
The store is a destination and an experience, so come in, explore, take your time and enjoy. If you are looking for a unique gift or a latte and pastry, this is the spot.
