Gingerbread latte,
To your favorite Christmas mug:
Add 2 ounces of Gingerbread simple syrup*
Pour 2 shots of freshly brewed Talking Crow Coffee Roasters coffee (our single origin Peru works well with this.) over the syrup and stir to mix.
Add 8 ounces of steamed milk.
Top with homemade whipped cream and gingerbread cookie crumbs.

*Gingerbread Simple Syrup recipe:
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup water
1 Tablespoon water
¾ teaspoon ginger
½ teaspoon allspice
½ teaspoon ground cloves
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Add all to a saucepan and heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Homemade Whip:
½ cup heavy whipping cream
2 Tablespoons sugar
In a medium mixing bowl combine the heavy cream and sugar. Mix on medium high speed with a hand mixer until thickened.
